Signs that your "Over Wolfin' "

This informal blog is going to tell you when you are over wolfin and need to get a trim or a cut asap, before you do more harm than good to your waves.

Well the obvious sign that you are over wolfin and need a cut as soon as possible is the legnth of your hair. If your hair starts to curl up and out of the pattern that you have set while brushing. When you wash your hair, and you come out looking like a mini afro, thats when you need to cut your hair.  When you notice this, you will notice that (2) holding products will not work as they should. Pomades, holding creams and such will work after the shower but on a daily basis, they will not *from personal experience*.  This will make your pattern change slightly but its nothing that cant be recovered with a trim and a couple of brushing sessions.

These 2 obvious signs will let you know that you have too much hair and need to get a trim or a cut as soon as possible. Now if you do not want to cut your hair low, like a 1.5 wtg or a 2 atg then you should get a trim to get your hair back to where it should be.

Over wolfin can be a disaster to your waves. This can change your pattern and change the overall look and feel of your waves. Remember this is not just a hairstyle but  a lifestyle!

I got a question.....What size is a 1.5? I use Wahl clippers and I have a variety (1/8", 1/4", 1/2") guards. What size do u recommend for a fresh cut length?

i like to get a 1.5 or 1 and a 1/2 WTG when i get my fresh cuts. Thats the best legnth to still have waves and not to have to work from a lower legnth to get them back. there are pros to that tho, when you cut really low, you can redo the whole process and really go in when you are wolfin and get a better pattern going.
